Potassium deficiency-Strawberries

Symptoms
As a first symptom margins of mature leaves turn brown and dry. The browning progresses inwardly between the veins. Almost at the same time the leaf base including the midrib and petiole darkens.

Reasons
Potassium deficiency Potassium deficient leaves contain less than 0.5% K. Magnesium deficiency and salt burn can produce similar symptoms.
